Professional Christmas Light Installation in Dallas - Fort Worth

Christmas Lights 4 U installs custom-cut Christmas lights for homes and businesses across the Dallas - Fort Worth metroplex. Every installation includes design, materials, professional installation, in-season maintenance, removal, and off-season storage in our warehouse.

We have served North Texas property owners since 2018. Our installers are employees, not subcontractors. They are trained to work along rooflines, trees, and landscaping without damaging your property, and to set every bulb at consistent spacing and facing the same direction.

Most quotes are completed remotely. Send us your address, we design the display, and you approve it before anything gets scheduled. The same process applies whether we are designing a residential Christmas light installation or a commercial Christmas light installation.

Your lights go up on schedule, stay lit through the season, and come down after the holidays. We label and store everything, so next year takes one phone call.

Our Holiday Lighting Services

We install holiday lighting for three kinds of property owners across Dallas - Fort Worth. The design process is the same for each. What changes is the scale, the scheduling, and whether the lights come down in January.

How Our Christmas Light Hanging Service Works

Our Christmas light hanging service covers everything from the first design conversation to the last strand coming down after the holidays. Here is how it works.

  1. Free design consultation. Most consultations happen remotely. We use your address and satellite imagery to measure rooflines, trees, and landscape features, so most property owners never need to schedule a site visit.
  2. Custom design and quote. We build a display around the features worth highlighting and send you a quote. Nothing gets scheduled until you approve it.
  3. Installation. Every strand is cut to length for the section it lights. That is what produces a straight, even line instead of the bunching and gapping you get from store-bought strands. Our clips are designed to stay attached to the light, not your roof, so nothing is left behind on your gutters or landscaping after takedown.
  4. In-season maintenance. If a bulb or strand fails during the season, we come out and fix it at no charge. This applies whether you lease or purchase your lights. Extensive or repeated damage caused by animals, contractors, or visitors may carry a charge.
  5. Removal and storage. After the holidays we take everything down, label it, and store it in our warehouse. Nothing goes in your attic or garage. Next season is one phone call.

Lease or Purchase Your Holiday Lighting Installation

Every installation includes the same service: design, professional installation, in-season maintenance, removal, and storage. The only difference is how the materials are handled.

Most property owners choose based on the display itself rather than the price.

Lease

How you pay: One fixed annual rate covers materials and service, with no large first-year outlay.

Materials: We own the system and replace it at end of life, so a full replacement never lands on your invoice.

Design changes: Change colors or layout any season at no materials cost. Tell us before installation and we build it that way.

Best for: Displays you expect to change, and displays with tree wraps, ground lighting, or heavy window work. Those techniques wear materials faster, so replacement on our schedule works in your favor.

Purchase

How you pay: Materials in year one, then a reduced service-only rate every season after. Your annual cost drops after the first year.

Materials: You own them, and we store them in our warehouse so they never take up space at your property. Plan on replacement after roughly five seasons.

Design changes: Your display stays as designed. Changes are available and priced by the materials they require.

Best for: Displays you intend to keep consistent. If your roofline design is settled and you are not planning color changes, you are not paying every year for flexibility you would not use.

Commercial and Municipal Properties

The choice often follows the budget. Operating budgets align with leasing. Capital expenditure budgets align with purchasing. We quote both ways so you can submit whichever fits your approval process.

Not sure which fits your property? Tell us what you want lit and we will quote both. Both models are priced from the same Christmas light installation cost structure, by the foot and by the strand.

Year-Round and Permanent Light Installation

Permanent LED lighting installed along the roofline of an auto repair shop, programmed in red, white, and blue

Not every property owner wants lights that go up in November and come down in January. Year-round lighting or permanent lighting installations require a different product.

A track system mounts once along your rooflines and stays in place year-round. The track is designed to be nearly invisible from the street during daylight, while transforming your home to match any occasion after sunset. You control the lights from your phone, choosing colors, patterns, and schedules without anyone coming out to your property.

That means holiday colors in December, team colors on game day, orange and purple strobes for Halloween, and warm accent or security lighting the rest of the year. One install, then eleven additional months of use that seasonal lighting cannot offer.

Permanent lighting is a larger upfront investment than a seasonal installation, and it makes the most sense for property owners planning to stay put and use the system beyond the holidays.

What Christmas Light Installation Costs

Our Christmas light installations are priced by the foot and by the strand. The rate per foot stays the same from one property to the next. What changes is how many feet your display requires.

How We Calculate Your Holiday Lighting Installation

  • Size of the property. More linear footage means more material and more labor. This is the largest single driver of your quote.
  • Scope of the display. Rooflines only, or rooflines plus tree wraps, landscape lighting, and wreath or garland selections. Every element is measured and cut to fit the exact space it occupies, so scope drives footage.
  • Roofline articulation. Peaks, dormers, gables, and returns are not straight lines. An articulated roofline covers more linear feet than a flat run across a house of the same width. Same rate per foot, more feet. This is usually why two homes that look similar quote differently.
  • Decorative finishes. Wreaths, garland, and bows are built for the space they occupy rather than pulled off a shelf at a fixed size. Most garland arrives in nine foot sections, which leaves a decorator two choices: bunch the excess to shorten it, or design around nine foot increments and accept a run that does not quite fit the space. Our garland is cut perfectly to the length of the door, column, arch, or railing it wraps. Shatterproof ornaments are set in a repeating sequence and finished in a palette you select, so the entry, the balcony, and the interior read as one design rather than three.

Residential installations generally start around $1,500. Your quote covers the entire season: design, materials, installation, in-season maintenance, removal, and warehouse storage. Nothing is billed separately after the holidays.

Every property has details worth talking through. We review yours during the design consultation.

Holiday Light Installation and Decor Packages

Our Christmas light installation packages are built for your property, not picked from a menu. There is no standard display. Each installation is designed around your property's features, your vision, and your budget.

Your design starts with the unique features worth highlighting. For most properties that is the roofline. For others it is a row of oaks, a stone entry, or the landscaping elements.

Warm white C9 Christmas lights outlining every gable and roofline of a two-story home at dusk

Roofline lighting. C9 bulbs in a color of your choosing, cut to length for every run and clipped along the edge. C9 is the only product we put on a roofline. The bulb size and spacing hold a clean, crisp line that shines perfectly from the street.

Mini LED lights wrapped around the trunk and branches of a mature tree at a Dallas-Fort Worth property

Tree and bush lighting. Mini LED lights wrapped around trunks and branches, worked through canopies, and set into shrubs. Mini lights belong where the shape is organic, and the element needs dense lighting coverage. Never on a roofline or a landscaping bed outline.

Cascading Christmas light strands hanging from the canopy of a mature live oak over a lawn at night

Cascading lights. Vertical strands that hang from the overhead tree branches, creating an immersive Christmas experience. This lighting technique is most recommended for properties with large sprawling trees, or densely wooded lots with many overhead branches.

Lit garland cut to fit and wrapped around an arched stone entry with wrought iron double doors

Wreaths, garland, and bows. Every length of garland is cut to perfectly fit the door, column, or railing it wraps. Add ornaments, colored lights, ribbon, and decorative accents in the color palettes that match your other decorations.

Every element is measured, cut, and installed for the exact space it occupies. During your free design consultation we review the property, identify what is worth lighting, and build the package around it.

Why Property Owners Choose Christmas Lights 4 U

Holiday lighting is a serious business in North Texas, and most property owners searching for a Christmas light installation company have heard the stories. Crews that never showed. Lights left on the roof in February. A phone number that stopped working in December.

Here is how we operate differently.

  • Locally owned and operated. We are a North Texas company serving North Texas properties. When you call in December, you reach someone in this market who can get to your address.
  • Our installers are employees. The crew on your roof works for us, not for a subcontractor hired for the weekend. They are trained on our methods, and they are the same people who return for maintenance and takedown.
  • In-season maintenance with a real response window. If something fails during the season, we come out and fix it, usually within 24-48 hours. Your display stays lit through the holidays, not until the first strand goes dark.
  • We take it all down. Removal and warehouse storage are part of the service, not an add-on you chase us for in January. Nothing stays on your roof and nothing lands in your garage.
  • We carry $1 million in general liability coverage. Ladders, roofs, and second-story work carry real risk. That risk is ours, not yours.
  • Installing across DFW since 2018. Every season since, on these properties, for clients who keep calling us back. Our displays have drawn more than 22 million organic views online, and our book of business still grows mostly by referral from the neighborhoods we work in.

The difference is visible from the street.

Christmas Light Installation FAQs

1. Do you install Christmas lights near me?

We install throughout the Dallas - Fort Worth metroplex, including Dallas, Fort Worth, Frisco, Southlake, Highland Park, University Park, Plano, McKinney, Grapevine, Colleyville, and Flower Mound. If you are not sure whether we cover your address, send it over and we will confirm. You can also find a Christmas light installer near you on our service area page.

2. Do I need to be home for a quote?

Usually not. Most quotes are completed remotely. We measure your rooflines and landscape features from your address using satellite imagery, then send you a design and a price with no appointment to schedule.

Some elements are harder to judge from an aerial image. Tree lighting is the most common example, since trunk diameter, canopy density, and branch height determine how much material a wrap actually takes. When scale matters that much, we come out and measure it in person. You still do not need to be home for that visit.

3. Do you offer Christmas light rentals?

Yes. Our lease model works like a rental. You pay one fixed annual rate that covers materials and service, we own and maintain the lighting system, and we replace it when it reaches the end of its life. You can also purchase your materials outright if you prefer to own them.

4. Do you provide the Christmas lights, or do I use mine?

We provide everything. Commercial-grade LED strands, clips, wreaths, garland, and hardware are all included, whether you lease or purchase. We do not install customer-supplied lights, because we cannot stand behind materials we did not source.

5. What kind of lights do you use?

C9 LED bulbs on rooflines and mini LED lights in trees, bushes, cascading elements, and greenery. Each product goes where it performs best. We do not put mini lights on a roofline or C9 bulbs in a shrub, and we do not install icicle lights at all, because they cannot be cut cleanly to fit an individual house.

6. What happens if a light goes out during the season?

Call or text us and we will be out within 24 to 48 hours to fix it. In-season maintenance is included whether you lease or purchase, at no additional charge. We would rather you tell us the moment you notice something than wait and hope we drive by.

7. Who takes the lights down, and do you store them?

We do both. After the holidays our crews remove everything, label it, and store it in our warehouse. Removal and storage are part of the service, not an add-on. Nothing stays on your roof and nothing goes into your garage or attic.

8. How much does Christmas light installation cost?

Residential installations generally start around $1,500, and pricing is calculated by the foot and by the strand based on the display you want. See how Christmas light installation is priced for the full breakdown.

9. Do you install commercial Christmas lights?

Yes. We work with retail centers, office parks, restaurants, HOA common areas, and municipal properties, and we schedule installation around your operating hours. Learn more about our commercial Christmas light installation.

10. How do I find a Christmas light installer I can trust?

Ask three questions. Are the installers employees or subcontractors hired for the season? Is there a stated response time for in-season repairs? Are removal and storage included, or billed separately in January? We answer yes, 24 to 48 hours, and included.

One conversation in the fall. A house that looks right every night through the holidays.

Every strand cut to fit the run it lights, every element chosen for the property it sits on, and a crew that comes back within 24 to 48 hours if anything needs attention. You approve the design and we take it from there. Nothing to store, and nothing to think about again until you pull into the driveway.

Send us your address and we will design a display for your property.
